Maggie Baird and Lori Nasso | Writers

Maggie Baird and Lori Nasso teamed up to write Life Inside Out after singing and performing together at Los Angeles open mic nights. Coming from individual backgrounds as writers and actors, their combined experiences turned into a wonderful collaboration. Maggie was a performer and writer at The Groundlings for many years and as a songwriter has released two CDs: My Father’s Daughter and We Sail.  Lori started her career in Toronto with Second City before going on to write for Saturday Night Live forfour seasons. In Los Angeles she wrote for such shows as Oxygen’s Ripe Tomatoes and the CW’s Hype and was recently head writer on Nickelodeon's new show Parental Discretion. Lori and Maggie are currently working together on several new projects.

Jill D’Agnenica | Director


Jill D'Agnenica is a visual artist, filmmaker, and mother of two girls. She has edited and co-produced several independent films. Her recent television editing credits include JJ Abrams’ Undercovers (Warner Bros./NBC) and Hollywood Heights (Nickelodeon).  She currently edits Switched at Birth (ABC Family). D’Agnenica has received numerous grants and awards for her visual art including an Artist in Community Grant from the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department, an Artist's Project Grant from LACE (Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions), and The Los Angeles Downtown Breakfast Club’s Rose Award for Public Art. Her artwork has been reviewed in numerous art and mainstream publications. D’Agnenica received her MFA in visual arts from Claremont Graduate University and a BA, Magna Cum Laude, in Cultural and Intellectual History from UCLA.  This is her debut as a feature director. 

Tessa Bell | Producer


Tessa Bell began her career in media at CBS Sixty Minutes and the CBS Evening News. She created the FYI Column for Premiere Magazine, and for many years, ran Infinity Films & Video, Inc. a film and video company producing for Fortune 500 companies, and produced short children’s films. In the mid-nineties, Infinity Films began producing live off Broadway cabaret shows. Since moving to LA in 2008, Tessa has produced three annual Women In Film International Short Film Festivals, a feature film by Jean Veber “Side Effects,” public service campaigns, and a short film starring Melissa Leo “This Is The Story of Ted and Alice.”

Guido Frenzel | Director of Photography


Guido Frenzel was born and raised in Munich, Germany and started his career in Europe before moving to Los Angeles in 1994, where he attended the AFI Cinematography program. Guido has been active in features, commercials, shorts and music videos. He has worked as the Director of Photography on numerous successful unscripted reality and scripted shows. He is currently DP on NBC’s America’s Got Talent and concurrently works on NBC’s hit, The Voice.

Elliott Goldkind | Composer


Elliott Goldkind has composed music for diverse media, ranging from orchestral and chamber music to film, television, and commercials. His classical/concert music has been performed throughout the United States and Western Europe. His film scoring work has led to collaborations with Jeff Buckley, David Mamet and many talented young directors.


Elliott received his B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College, studied at Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris and the Hochschule fur Musik in Berlin.  He received his Masters and Doctorate degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His teachers include Chester Biscardi, Meyer Kupferman, Stephen Dembksi and Joel Naumann. Elliott is a MacDowell Colony fellow and the recipient of New York University’s Langley Fellowship.

Philip Malamuth | Editor | Second Unit Director


In his extensive career Philip has worked on a broad range of projects.  He has edited comedies: "Dream On" (HBO), action series: "Early Edition"(CBS) and "10-8"(ABC) and documentaries:  "A&E's Biography" and "Fearless"(OLN).  He has edited numerous animation projects for the Walt Disney Company, including home video features like "Kronk's New Groove" and animated series like "101 Dalmatians-The Series", "Brandy & Mr. Whiskers" and "The Replacements". Philip received his MFA in Film Production from USC and a BA in Psychology from UCLA.  A native Angeleno, Philip is delighted to have always had“the industry” in his back yard.
